2010-2018: Pigmentprint in frame

In 2010 I photographed a dead hare along a roadside. Every year I lost the original file again and continued working with a compressed and smaller copy of it. In 2018 I just had a cheap and pixelated print, smaller than an A6 format left. The original was long gone. By scanning this one small pixelated picture with 2000 dpi it experienced a intermedial „refinement“ while simultaneously going through another step of digital rotting: Not one single original pixel is left. They are all a reproduction of a reproduction of a reproduction. The picture disintegrates and loses itself in grid points.
